Smalltalk videos on video.google.com
Found several excellent videos of Alan Kay and Dan Ingalls describing Smalltalk and its implementation from following this link on the www.esug.org (European Smalltalk User Group website) . Kay's video is particularly messianic as he gets into his theme that children don't learn mathematics at school, but memorise it, and that interactive computer environments that model the real world are really what we need to explore concepts and learn.
Ingall's video on the architecture of Smalltalk-80 is very interesting also - a good introduction into what OO means and why it is more powerful than procedural programming.
